When to use image color picker
Matching the color in a screenshot or reference photo should not require a full image editor. Open the image and click the preview to sample one decoded pixel. The displayed coordinate helps you sample a nearby point again. Copy the HEX color for CSS or use the RGB channels in design software.
How it works
- Load an image.
- Click the location whose color you want.
- Copy the resulting HEX and RGB values.

Before you export or rely on the result
JPEG artifacts, gradients and color management can affect a sampled pixel. The result describes the browser-rendered image and is not a physical paint match.
